alright..enough about pandas..today was a really good day....hmm..well..*notices the huge puddle of water under the keyboard, assumes that the vase that was knowcked over through random acts of clumsiness actually had some water in it * well..im surprsied my keyboard is still working..brb..:)
well..speaking of water..my washer sucks..which means..that i have to wash all my "whities" ( i put quotation marks around words that i dont like) by myself...this is a problem..because it takes effort..
its a good thing my dryer still works..there was a point at which it was broken..my dad suggeted hanging laundry outside in the backyard..and although i have nothing against clothes pins and wires..and effort....i decided that im not crazy about the neighbors seeing all of my undergarments....
both my washer and dryer are about 50 years old...this is becoming a problem..because the washer doesnt wash anything out..the dryer is actually not bad when it works....
actually i hate doing laundry period, you have to sort everything by color which creates a significant number of loads..on the weekend my room will usually become a very interesting thing to see...the floor area is tiny, and so different colored piles take up the whole space...my carpet becomes, red and white and black, and pink, and teal..but this is just the beginning..
after you are done sorting it, you go and spend about 3 hours shoving the stuff in and out of the washer and dryer...suddenly you find that although you already did all the blacks theres a single black dirty sock laying on the floor..although not very happy with the find you decide that it is only one sock and its pair probably got lost in the process also...as you walk back upstairs you find that there are more and more pieces of clothing that you have dropped..the nerve! nobody has bothered to tell you!...mumbling swear words..you are finally done picking up what seems to be another whole load of all different colored laundry ....you reach your room...you discover that you have left the door open and your fat dog is chewing and slobbering all over your already clean laundry....
in fury you kick your dog out, unable to retrieve a perfectly innocent white sock..which..by the time you catch your dog has a hole in it...
when finally all your laundry is done and dry you find that most of it is actually the farthest thing from dry..and you sort out all the fairly okay laundry and carry the rest back to the dryer..as you begin sorting the socks you find that most of them dont have pair, and you hope that they will be found in the drying load....your hopes are not justified when you find that no single sock matches the other, all the pairs are gone..and no matter how hard you try you cannot account for this phenomena, you are happy that all your lingerie is still intact...you decide that you will never do laundry again.....and as you leave your room, your buddy who just walked in starts laughing at you..you ask what the hell is so fucking funny and after some more laughing he tells you that there is a sock stuck to your ass, he tells you that there is such a thing as fabric softener, but you disregard all of his comments, because you know a lot more about laundry than he does...
i hate doing laundry..
