about movies..again..

ok well..i was talking to an old friend..and he suggested i update this thing..so thats what im doing..since i have nothing better to do and im bored out of my mind..kind of..im listening to awesome music so its all good...anyway.. so summer has been ..well..its been summer....its great to not be doing shit..you know?..
i saw the batman movie..and that was absolutely terrible...(1) it was filmed like shit, you couldnt tell what was going on in the fight scenes..(2) it was plain, nothing artistic, nothing special..what they should have done is filmed it in the same style as they did sky captain, it fits the comic book thing perfectly..(3)the villain was completely undefined..(4)katie holmes is not hot...(5)no good soundtrack..they had the dramatic theme music going..BLEH!..(6) a sappy ass ending...with a kiss..and then batman and katie holmes hold hands..YAAY...ugh..i think thats enough reasons..but if i remember anythng else..ill be sure to post it...
..i mean really..they fucked it up.... i was so angry..that movie had so much potential..although there were some pretty awesome parts....you got to see a ferrari once...aand the rest of the time he drove this big ass.."tank"...it drove over cop cars and that was cool.....but..as they specifically point it out, no cops actually die (and thats just no fun you know?)... all the guys also agreed that katie holmes' nipples were nice.....but thats about all on the plus side....

mr. and mrs. smith on the other hand was much better than expected....angelina jolie and brad pitt are HOTT together..and ..overall the movie makes you want to destroy your house.. two deadly assasins trying to kill eachother is just MMMMMM...big guns and sharp knives...a nice car chase too...i mean..it made a minivan look good...and like i said..you come out of the movie and you want to destroy your house..and speed away in your minivan ...haha..yes..

both movies definitely make you realize how shitty real life is...and that..if you wana have any fun..you have to be rich as hell.....really, batman is a great example ..the guy has no real super powers..he just has a shitload of money..i mean..hell if i had that much money..i would be catwoman....it be great...whats better that stealing diamonds in leather and high heels?..with the little kitty ears....heh...

Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon?..absurd...

the da vinci code is gonna be out in the theaters sometime in 2006..when i found this out i was quite excited, since i had always thought that that book would make a great movie, possibly a better movie than the book. regardless, while reasearching further into this topic, i had stumbled upon something that completely outraged me....out of all people, Tom Hanks was cast as Robert Langdon!..what?!...if you are unaware (although im sure youre quite familiar, since the da vnci code is surprisngly popular with the adolescent masses) Langdon is a harvard symbologist who quickly finds himself uncovering a mystery and searching for clues to help save an ancient secret.. Langdon is a combination of Indiana Jones and the modern day Sherlock Holmes (thats a huge compliment for the book that wasnt even half as brilliantly written as Conan Doyles adventures)..aand though i still firmly believe that no living man can possibly portray the true essence of Sherlock Holmes, one can definitely act as Indiana Jones...therefore, the role is more for the young Harrison Ford type...i mean this guy is supposed to be sexy..Harrison Ford was sexy..true, it was almost situational sexy..as in..who wouldnt find your typical professor, suddenly placed in the middle of a jungle, searching for artifacts, with that hat, and a whip...ahh....HOT?...however, like i said..it was only almost situational, meaning it couldnt be just anyone....it had to be a smart, well built man, with appealing face features, and a charming personality...and you know all those other things that make a man sexy...my point (besides the fact that Harrison Ford was HOTTTT in that movie)..is for the character of Robert Langdon to be effective the same goal remains....and sadly Tom Hanks just cant pull of sexy....:( ..

on a final note, im in no way trying to critisize Hanks' acting talents..im just saying the guy has to look different. ..
