learning the hard way

It was in Mikhail’s car,
When Scott suggested, “To the bar!”
And having nothing else to do
That’s what the rest decided too.
And so here’s what we learned,
As far as strip clubs are concerned.

Hold on tight to your possessions
During any lap dance sessions,
Dima knows this best of all
His glasses took the greatest fall.
They went in and out and in
To where most men have been.

Mikhail was clearly inspired
The stripping thing I guess, is wired
Cuz when it comes to grinding poles,
He can collect the most tolls.
And the cash of course, will flow,
Guys like Bob wont miss the show.

Although we all came out more cautious,
Nikita simply became nauseous.
It seems he’s just not a believer
Since shortly after our endeavor
He swiftly came down with a fever
It must have been the purple beaver.

And as for me? I learned my lesson
I should have listened to my parents.
So even though it may be far,
I think its worth the better bar.

update.

sunday, 3 pm, i wake up to a phone call. the lady on the other line tells me to take the matter into my own hands. i cant tell you who she is because she asked me not to let you know. im sitting here listening to my parents try to figure out my moms stat homework. my dad refers to me as the "statistics expert" when he doesnt want to help my mom. my dad leaves and the statistics expert gets called into the other room. apperantly my mom fell down roller skating and there is a huge bruise on her chin. she aks me if its noticeable ..i look down and lie. then i look up again and she asks me how she is supposed to go to work tomorrow. i cant help it and i start laughing. she kicks me out of the room. but all is done in good humor. she yells at my dad and i for having no sense of kindness.

july 23 rd. it is scotts birthday, and there is something nikita and i both forgot about yesterday.

it is good to be 18, porn shops are great. i remember writing a few rhyming lines regarding us all still being friends at this point. im glad weve made it. really glad guys.
